If my wife won't hang it in the living room, it's just not good enough!
My quality is based on what I would want for myself. There are no corners cut. All of the materials I use are archival (lasting up to 80-100 yrs), and as much as possible hand crafted. If you are going to pay for a quality piece of art, you have the right to know what goes into it.

The main differences between how a digital oil painter works vs a traditional one is the way they get an image to the canvas. The traditional one often hand sketches their subjects, whereas a digital one will use actual photograph(s) as their sketch.
This is why having the right photo of your dog can make a huge difference in what I can produce.
I spend hours on each piece to bring out details in the reference photographs, replace backgrounds, and meticulously build up layers of digital “paint” with different-sized brushstrokes and textures. No computer algorithm can replicate the thoughtful brushstrokes of a human artist.
In place of physical brushes and oil paints I use a computer and other tools. My digital brushes are custom made from actual paint strokes and are as close to organic paint as you can get. They have been created specifically for this style of work.
Once you’ve approved your painting, I send it over to my friends at PGHPrintShip, (local shop), and member of the American Alliance of Museums, to create an exquisite reproduction of your art on heavy weight acid free canvas. The print is called a Giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”).
Archival paper and inks are always used meaning that your art will last for many years to come. The color’s won’t fade or yellow.
11 x 14 Pieces
Hand Crafted Frames
My 11×14’s come with the option of a handcrafted frame. Frames are created from Red Oak (sometimes I have Walnut) and are made by a local master furniture builder.
I do the finish work myself to ensure the stain colors compliment your painting. It also allows you the ability to opt for a solid paint color if you would rather have that.
